07 May 2012 Crystal Group & Zhong Shan Yida Apparel Ltd Win Gold Award of Import & Export Trades & Manufacturing Sector

Congratulation! Crystal Group Hong Kong Headquarters and Zhong Shan Yida Apparel Ltd. have won Gold Award under the Sectoral Awards of the 2011 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence （HKAEE）:

Crystal Group Hong Kong Headquarters : Gold Award of Import & Export Trades Sector
Zhong Shan Yida Apparel Ltd. : Gold Award of Manufacturing Sector,

This award started in 2008 and has been well supported and recognized by the community as one of the most prestigious and reputable award schemes in Hong Kong. The HKSAR Government is also in full support of this environmental excellence award, it has also been called as Hong Kong Environmental "Oscar"

This Sectoral Award has a total of 11 sectors and each sector has one Gold, One Silver and One Bronze prize. The awards will be granted to organizations with all-round outstanding environmental performance.

There have been nearly 600 organizations participating in the awards (and over 60 companies joined Manufacturing and Import & Export Trades Sectors, respectively). We have successfully passed initial assessment, on-site evaluation and the final stage of panel adjudicating, chaired by Professor Lap-Chee Tsui , Principal of the University of Hong Kong. It is indeed a very valuable award to Crystal Group & Yida.

The Award presentation ceremony was held on 4 May 12 at Hong Kong Conventional and Exhibition Center, with the presence of the Honorable Donald Tsang, the Chief Executive of HKSAR & Mr. Edward Yau, the Secretary for the Environment as the officiating guests of Ceremony. In 2011, many sizable organizations and enterprises received this award including, Standard & Chartered Bank, The HK & China Gas Co. Ltd., The HK Electric Co. Ltd. & Fuji Xerox (HK) Ltd.
